PHPBB就是个情怀，以前玩过现在丢掉心里不舍得，放这儿算是个欣慰吧～～

First of all, thank you to all developers and contributors for keeping phpBB alive and finally releasing phpBB4 after more than a decade. It's not easy to maintain an open-source project for so long, and I truly appreciate the effort and dedication behind it.
However, after such a long wait, it's disappointing to see that some of the features that were expected (and even promised in previous dev discussions) are still missing:
Still no proper WYSIWYG editor
No new modern default style (both for frontend and ACP)
No refactored forum structure / topic / profile system
No revamped PM (private messaging) experience
No major UX improvements for regular users or admins
phpBB4 feels more like a slightly polished phpBB 3.4 rather than a real next-generation release.
I'm grateful for the update, but after 10+ years of waiting, the community was expecting a real leap forward, not just incremental changes.
Please consider prioritizing these essential improvements in future releases — the forum world still needs phpBB, but it must evolve to stay relevant.
太失望了！！

我看到过这条建议书，PHPBB经历了25年，核心人物都要在五十岁或六十岁以上了，加之西方的生活慢节奏产生这样的滞后很正常～～
